Bamford Community Care was founded by a passionate team of human services professionals committed to doing things differently. We recognised that many support services were built around systems and programs rather than the unique needs, strengths, goals, and circumstances of the people they serve.

Our organisation was established on a simple belief: participants should be at the centre of service design, not the other way around.

Every support we provide is tailored to the individual. We take the time to understand what matters most to each participant and work collaboratively to develop services that reflect their aspirations, cultural identity, lived experiences, and personal goals. This flexible and responsive approach allows us to deliver meaningful support that creates lasting outcomes.

At Bamford Community Care, we recognise that health and wellbeing are influenced by much more than individual circumstances. We work through a Social Determinants of Health lens, understanding that factors such as housing, education, employment, income, social inclusion, culture, community connection, and access to services all play a critical role in a person's quality of life.

This holistic approach allows us to identify and address the barriers that may impact a participant's wellbeing while building on existing strengths, resilience, and community supports. Our focus is not simply on delivering services, but on creating opportunities for people to thrive.

LGBTIQA+SB Communities

We provide inclusive, affirming, and safe supports for people of diverse genders, sexualities, bodies, and relationships. Our team understands the unique challenges often experienced by LGBTIQA+SB individuals and is committed to creating environments where participants feel respected, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
