About Us

Our Story

Bamford Community Care was founded by a passionate team of industry professionals who came together with a clear goal: to shake things up and create a real, positive change in human services.

Frustrated by a lack of clear frameworks and understanding in the sector, our leadership team decided to build something different—a service that genuinely puts Person-Centred Care at its heart. We are redefining what support looks like by focusing on quality, deep compassion, and most importantly, making a tangible difference in the lives of the people we walk alongside.

Our Mission

To deliver services that unify people with their community, delivering tailored, person-centred supports that empower individuals to live with absolute dignity and experience a meaningful, fulfilling life.

Our Vision

To provide a welcoming, safe, private, and comfortable environment for our participants and professional staff through deeply ethical, collaborative, and transparent practice.

Our Core Values: The 10 Principles of Dignity in Care

At Bamford Community Care, we are unconditionally committed to upholding the highest standards of respect for those we support. To ensure our values are lived out every single day, our team strictly operates under the 10 Principles of Dignity in Care:

  • Zero Tolerance: Maintaining an absolute zero tolerance for all forms of abuse.

  • Mutual Respect: Supporting every individual with the same respect and care we would want for ourselves or our own families.

  • Individuality: Treating each person as a unique individual by offering deeply personalized services.

  • Autonomy: Enabling participants to maintain the maximum possible level of independence, choice, and control over their lives.

  • Active Listening: Actively listening to and supporting people to express their individual needs, goals, and wants.

  • Privacy: Unwaveringly respecting and protecting people’s privacy and personal space.

  • Open Feedback: Ensuring participants always feel safe and able to complain or provide feedback without any fear of retribution.

  • Partnership: Engaging with family members, advocates, and carers as vital care partners.

  • Confidence & Self-Esteem: Assisting people to maintain their confidence, identity, and positive self-esteem.

  • Connection: Actively working to alleviate loneliness, isolation, and community disconnection
